Growing up, I've been surrounded by fabulous examples of God filled love and marriage. I really have been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful examples of what love should look like and how it should feel. These are things I often think about as the years tick on and love and marriage become a more serious idea in the back of my mind. Working with so many couples I hear tons of beautiful love stories and over the years I've learned that really - I just love, love. I love seeing people in love, I love being surrounded by people in love. That's what makes this job so, so rewarding.

While Lauren and I both attended Texas A&M (whoop!), I didn't meet Lauren until after graduating and moving away from College Station. Lauren worked with one of my most favorite girls in the world, Miss Emily Smith,  and when Lauren was looking for a florist for her wedding, Emily assured her she HAD to come to Reiley and Rose - and I thank God every day for guiding Lauren to me! The first time Lauren and I met up in College Station I knew I wanted this wedding SO badly. Within the first 30 minutes of talking with Lauren I knew this was the type of wedding Reiley and Rose was created for. As we starting talking, it was immediately so easy to see the love Lauren had for her Lord, and her fianc√©, Gabe. She told me of how they had met at St. Mary's while attending school, and how coming back to be married there was so important to them both.

Throughout the whole planning process, Lauren was such a joy to work with - even when we had to completely change venues halfway through planning. She knew God had a plan for her and Gabe, and she was so open and willing to accept whatever he threw at them. Her presence and being through the whole process made me want to be a better person - those are the kind of people you want to surround yourself with.

Come wedding day - It was a hot and humid day in College Station, it even poured for a while. Most people would have complained about the weather, but not Lauren. Nothing could cloud the love these two have for each other and the Lord.

While we were busy setting up lanterns in the front of the church, my girls and I had the chance to witness Lauren and Gabe do a behind the door "first look." Talk about a tear-jerker. I pray that every girl finds a God filled love like Lauren & Gabe have - they really are such a beautiful example of love.

To Lauren & Gabe - I pray the Lord covers you both in his love today and everyday and that you both continue to grow in love and happiness for many, many wonderful years. I am so glad to know you. Thank you for letting me be apart of the best day of your life!
