One of the things people told me over and over again when I started my business was that my friends and family would be my biggest supporters, as well as my best (and cheapest) advertisement. Over the past 5 months I've certainly seen this 10 fold. I always love to ask my clients how they heard about Reiley and Rose and what brought them to us. So many times my clients have been sent by friends and family, and I couldn't be more thankful. Brooke was one of my first brides that I didn't know personally before doing her wedding. In September of 2016, my best friend, Dottie, got married and I had the wonderful privilege of being Dottie's maid of honor. Dottie's bridal party was filled with some of the most incredible, intelligent and beautiful girls in all of Texas. One of those girls happened to be Holly.

Holly and I both attended Texas A&M with Dottie, and with both of us being in the College of Ag, I often saw Holly in passing hanging around Kleburg. Too many times to count out at the Tap or Northgate, we'd run into Holly and always have the best time. From the very first day we "formally" met, Holly was the sweetest little thing. Fast forward a year to planning Dottie's wedding, I got to know Holly better, and grew to love her and her wonderful personality even more. Come wedding weekend, I knew I had gained a life long friend in Holly.

A few months after Dottie's wedding, I received a message from Brooke, Holly's little sister. Brooke was elbows deep in planning her wedding and was in need of help with flowers.... and quickly! Of course, Dottie & Holly had convinced her she HAD to call me. Brooke was getting married in Midfield, Texas at Beneath the Oaks, which happens to be about two hours away from the studio. As I told Brooke, Reiley + Rose will go anywhere - and with that, Brooke's wedding was on our books. HOLY COW. I was so excited! I say this time and time again, but doing flowers for people and families you know and love is part of what makes this job so rewarding. I might not have known Brooke well at all, but the fact that she was Holly's sister made me instantly love her.

Our planning time was limited, but Brooke was so organized and knew exactly what she wanted. While 95% of our planning was done over the phone and email, Brooke was such a joy to work with. She was always so light hearted, easy going and laughing; but this came as no surprise - she's Holly's sister. I met Brooke in person just a few weeks before her wedding, and meeting her made me even more excited for her and Brandon's big day. I loved seeing her eyes light up as she talked about Brandon. I didn't meet Brandon until the day of the wedding, but I felt as if I had known him and the love he had for Brooke for weeks.

From her navy and white nautical theme, to the incredible venue, Brooke & Brandon's wedding is one I'll look back to for years. I'll let these pictures speak for themselves.

Brooke & Brandon - thank you for letting me play such a special part in your big day. I pray your love for each other continues to flourish and shine just as it did this day. Here's to many, many years of love and happiness.
