Katelin & Dave Vieira
October 22nd, 2016 - St. Patrick's Cathedral & Burleson Yard Beer Garden
San Antonio, Texas
There's a few things I love, and I mean really, really love:
Katelin, a fellow Aggie, (whoop!), was referred to me by a mutual friend, and within the first 10 minutes of talking with her about the dream and vision she had for her wedding, I knew this was a wedding I HAD to have. I'm all about new and different ideas, and going out of the norm. Everything about Katelin & Dave's wedding was just that.
They started with a Catholic Mass, at 10:30 in the morning, then headed to the Burleson Yard Beer Garden, where their reception was held. I know what you're thinking; Mass not at 2 o'clock? And a reception at a beer garden? You read that right, and it was absolutely perfect. From the brunch themed meal they served, to the fun-carefree atmosphere of the beer garden, this one takes the cake for the most unique wedding of 2016.
When it came to Katelin's vision for her flowers - it paired perfectly with her venue. Everything was very loose, airy and whimsical. Katelin wanted everything to look as if we had hand picked wild flowers off the side of the road, as well as cool textures of berries and fruits. And of course, we had to have touches of maroon.
I'm so happy to have played a part in Katelin and Dave's big day, and wish them many, many years of love and happiness!
